It’s not surprising that Anne Greer filed a lawsuit against a Winter Park, FLA dentist, Wesley Meyers, over the death of her father last year during procedures to secure his dentures with implants.

You might wonder how one dies at the dentist office … well … In October, 2006, Meyers accidentally dropped a screwdriver down the patients throat. The man, Greer’s father, required a colonoscopy to remove the tool.

The next year the man returned to the same dentist, giving him a second chance to complete the procedure. This was against the daughters wishes BTW.

During the course of that procedure, the dentist accidentally dropped a torque wrench down the patients throat, creating serious problems almost immediately that proved fatal.

It’s no wonder so many people don’t like going to the dentist!
